
About the Founders
Serge Kogan is pioneering the use of visual communications technology as a catalyst in bringing the aging, boomer and younger populations closer to one another. He is the co-founder of g2gConnect, a MassChallenge Competition Finalist focused on connecting the generations through visual communications. Serge is a sought-after speaker at senior centers and senior living communities in the Greater Boston area, where he has introduced and assisted over 500 seniors and boomers take advantage of video calling technologies such as Skype. Serge is a member of the AgeTek Alliance, and regularly participates in conferences and affinity groups looking to create new business opportunities in telehealth, aging-in-place and living-independently markets. He is an experienced market development executive with over 25 years high-value solution sales to global companies in the electronics, telecommunications, semiconductors and financial services industries, as well as to government institutions in the US and Latin America. Serge held sales management, marketing and product development roles at iSuppli, Interleaf, Digital Equipment and Eastman Kodak. He is a graduate with Bachelor and Master Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and received his MBA from the University of Rochester. Tim Miller has spent 25 years as a high tech entrepreneur and general manager focused on building businesses based on innovative technologies. He co-founded g2gConnect with the goal of creating solutions, based on emerging computer and communication technologies, that could have a significant postive impact on the qulaity of life of seniors and their families. Prior to founding g2gConnect, he was CEO of Dolphin Interconnect Solutions, a Norwegian public company providing high performance computer solutions. He was formally the CEO and founder of StarGen, Inc. a venture capital backed semiconductor company. Prior to starting StarGen, Tim was with Digital Equipment Corporation where he held management roles in various computer system product groups. Additionally he spent 14 years as a Naval Officer, both on active duty and in the reserves. Tim received a BS in Engineering from Cornell. He also received an MBA from Wharton, and a MSE in computer science from University of Pennsylvania.
